Gitalong's History
The first Aussie I ever saw was in Northern California at the Stoneyford General Store.
A blue merle named * Tin Eye * greeted everyone who walked through the door.
I was in grammar school at the time and it was love at first sight. I knew that one day I would have Aussie's.
My first Aussie * Heynes Kandee Kiss CD* was a plain blue merle from California working lines.She would work our ducks & chickens, until one day she got into the horse pasture and our donkey stomped her, crushing in the side of her head.
She did loose an eye, but being my buddy we went on to earn an IASA CD.
Paul's family had a ranch with an Aussie from some where
in Colorado. We never knew his bloodlines, but he was a good cow dog. So as you can see, Aussie's have been part of our lives for many many years.
We have always believed and bred for versatility.
Over the years we have bred multilple
National Champions in
Agility,Conformation,Herding & Obedience.
